General Terms and Conditions of Business

Order
All orders are binding. In your own interest, please make sure that the delivery address and telephone number given to us are correct and complete. We cannot accept any liability for any delays or non-deliveries due to incorrect or incomplete addresses. We reserve the right to change the specifications of the products without prior notice.

Prices
The article prices in the shop are shown in Swiss francs (CHF) and include the statutory value added tax.

Payment
The most convenient way to pay is by VISA and MasterCard credit cards or by Post Finance Card and TWINT.

Internal UMB locations are invoiced or charged internally.

Delivery, shipping and packaging costs
Deliveries to Switzerland and the Principality of Liechtenstein:

You will receive a confirmation of receipt of your order from us. This merely confirms receipt of the order via the eShop. If you do not receive a confirmation, the order process was probably not completed correctly. In such a case, please contact us directly by e-mail or telephone.

The execution of the order depends on the availability of the products. As a rule, the order will be processed immediately. If this is not possible, you will be notified by us. Items may be shipped in more than one package. Items will be shipped as soon as they are available.

The shipping costs within Switzerland and the Principality of Lichtenstein are as follows:

Private purchases: Shipping costs shall be borne by UMB.

Business purchases:
Parcels up to 30 kg: CHF 10.25 per parcel (dispatch by A Mail)
Parcel shipping up to 30 kg: CHF 25.00 per parcel (express shipping)
Euro pallet max. 500 kg, height 240 cm: at cost

International deliveries:

International shipments are sent with FedEx. Shipments up to 67 kg are possible, for larger shipments please contact us. The calculated shipping costs can be seen directly in the order process. The delivery time is approx. 2-4 working days.

Please also note that any customs duties or value added tax on import are not included in the price and must be paid by the recipient.

Delivery times
Normal delivery times may vary, the following information is only a guideline:

A Mail: within 1 to 3 days of receipt of order.
B Mail: within 2 to 4 days after receipt of order.

Express deliveries are possible on request.

Returns
Return shipments are generally not provided for. In exceptional cases, items can be returned in their original packaging and in perfect condition at the following rates:

Handling costs for returns:

- per package CHF 15.00 excl.
- per pallet CHF 25.00 excl. VAT.

Delivery damage
If the goods were damaged during shipment, please inform us within 48 hours of receipt of the goods by e-mail or telephone. Damaged or defective items can be exchanged free of charge. Claims for damages due to incorrect illustrations, texts and prices or in the event of late delivery are excluded. Errors, price changes or minor modifications of the products remain reserved.

Data protection
We undertake not to sell your personal data to third parties. All personal data will of course be treated confidentially. The data necessary for the business transaction will be stored.

Credit card payments are encrypted with proven SSL technology. They are processed via Saferpay (Wordline). Wordline processes your personal data on our behalf in connection with the payments you order from us. Your data will only be used by Wordline to process your payment instruction and will not be made available to any third party other than the financial institutions responsible for the relevant payment method. "Wordline" or "Saferpay" may appear on your credit card or bank statement in connection with your order with us.

Retention of title
The delivered items remain our property until full payment has been received.
